My name is Shari Fishel. I am an experienced bodyworker who truly believes in holistic health. I believe we can assist in our own healing with the help of many different therapies, including therapeutic massage and holistic bodywork.
Soft tissue manipulation is one of many therapeutic tools we can use to maintain optimal health and as a practitioner I love that I can make an impact in people's lives through this restorative therapy.

My Background
I have been practicing therapeutic touch since 2001. I am a graduate of the Academy of Massage Therapy in Englewood, NJ. I hold my nationally recognized Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
During my preliminary training at the Academy, I studied both Western and Eastern modalities and I have continued to do so over the course of my career. Some of the techniques that I was originally trained in include Swedish Massage, Japenese Anma Massage, Myofacial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, sports massage and Shiatsu. I am also a certified prenatal massage practitioner, having completed an intensive 32-hour certification program.
Over the course of my career, I have continued to add tools of the trade to my repertoire on a yearly basis. As such, I incorporate many different modalities into my bodywork sessions to provide my clients with a well-rounded healing touch.
In 2024, I transitioned my massage therapy practice into a holistic massage and bodywork practice that primarily focuses on structure and function and is medically based. My work now focuses on productive and restorative soft tissue manipulation.
My Philosophy
As a professional, I believe the role of holistic massage and bodywork is to provide a natural healthcare experience that promotes health and wellness for the body both physically and mentally. I believe that therapeutic touch is an essential part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and is important for people in every walk of life.
As a bodywork professional, I pride myself in providing quality care to each of the individuals that I work with. By developing a unique, personalized session for each of my clients, I can better address each person’s needs and make a difference in their physical and mental well-being.
My Clientele
My experience over the course of my career as a bodywork practitioner has allowed me to work with men, women and children. When I started my own practice, I chose to focus my time and energy on a group that I feel often neglect themselves for the sake of others: Women. My passion lies in women's health and wellness, and I cater my sessions to meet these needs.
I have worked with elite professional athletes, as well as cancer patients, pregnant women, the elderly and everyone in between. I have a breadth of knowledge in the field of bodywork and have worked on all different body types and conditions.
I currently serve women in several areas in San Diego County, specifically, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Rancho Penasquitos, Sabre Springs, 4S Ranch and Carmel Mountain, Escondido and Ramona.
Why Women?
The answer is fairly simple. Throughout my career as a therapist, I have found that, as women, we take care of everyone else's needs first. We neglect our own bodies despite our need to take care of ourselves, both physically and mentally. As women, we also need a place that we can feel safe and secure to let go of the physical and emotional baggage that we carry around on a daily basis. Let me provide that safe haven.
By finding ease in your body, you can create an overall wellness that will spill into everything you do. You will find more comfort in your body, relaxation in your mind and an ability to be more functional in your daily life.
